How does the approval process work?
Once you've completed the sign-up form and uploaded your documents, we carry out some quick checks on your profile simply designed to confirm your identity. These include a basic identity check that will not affect your credit score.
What extra information may I need to provide?
To approve your profile we may occasionally request some of the following -
- Bank statement from your main current account
- Additional proof of address, such as a utility bill
- Additional ID documents, such as a passport
- Employment details, such as your most recent payslip
You'll have the option to upload some of these documents during sign-up to speed up the approval process. If not, you may be contacted to provide these details prior to your profile being approved.

What is Credit Kudos?
Drover has partnered with Credit Kudos, an online platform that securely gathers information using your online banking details, to facilitate our affordability checks.
This is a 100% optional step in the sign-up process to fast-track your application. If you'd rather opt out, we may contact you to request a bank statement instead.
How long does the approval process take?
Once you've uploaded your documents we aim to approve your profile within 24 hours or less. The process may take longer if we require further information from you.
