Your deposit is refundable 21 days after the last day of your last booking. We need to keep your deposit for a minimum of 21 days because any traffic or parking fines can take this long to reach us.
To get your deposit back, follow these steps:
1. Wait for an automated email from us that will arrive in your inbox 21 days after your last booking.
2. Click on the link in the email.
3. Log in to your Drover account and click "Return my Deposit". (If the button is greyed out, this is because 21 days have not yet passed. Please try again once the 21-day period has ended.)
4. Clicking "Return my Deposit" will immediately release your deposit and it will be on its way into the account from which you originally paid it. Please note your bank may take 3-5 days to clear the payment.
If we believe you owe us rent or other funds, we may freeze your deposit until the dispute is settled. If we conclude you owe us money, we may deduct the appropriate amount from your deposit.
If you cancel an ongoing 4-week, 8-week or 12-week booking, you will lose the difference between the deposit you paid and the standard deposit of £199. For instance, if you booked a vehicle for 4 weeks and paid £350 in deposit, you will lose £51 if you cancel during your 2nd week.
