My car’s Logbook and PHV Licence do not have the same keeper’s name or keeper’s address on them. Can I still list the car?

Yes, however, further action is necessary before uploading your documents.

If the name/address in the Logbook is the correct one, please fill out the Back Page of the PHV Licence with the correct keeper’s details and upload both the Front and Back Pages of the PHV Licence. The PHV Back Page will be valid for 14 days. Please obtain a new PHV Licence with the correct keeper’s details and upload it to your vehicle profile as soon as you receive it.

If the name/address on the PHV Licence is the correct one, please fill out the New Keeper’s Slip in the Logbook with the same name and address as those listed on the PHV Licence and tear it off. The New Keeper’s Slip will be valid for up to 6 weeks after the date of issue. Please apply to have the full Logbook with the correct details reissued and once you receive it, ensure you upload page 2 to your vehicle profile.

If your New Keeper’s Slip or PHV Back Page expires while your car is on hire and you have not uploaded a full V5/PHV Licence, as applicable, your car will come off hire and you may be subject to a £50 administration fee.
